April has been confirmed as yet another bad month for Portugal’s crippled construction industry, with the sector’s production dropping 2.5% compared to March.
Data from Eurostat shows that Portugal’s construction drop was the third most significant out of the 14 EU countries that provided statistics.
Only Romania (-3.3%) and the UK (-2.9%) registered worse results.
