Portugal’s anglers are still in doubt as to when they can pick up their rods again and go fishing. The government’s deconfinement strategy confirms that physical activities involving up to four people can begin from April 5, but there has been no mention of fishing. The community of recreational fishing in Portugal says it feels “discriminated against”. “There has been a total lack of concern by State organs managed by the Portuguese State, as well as by party leaders and MPs, in explaining or defining dates for the reopening of our activity”, it says in a new press release.
