Portugal is set to buy four military ships from Denmark for around €25 million by the end of the year, the head of the Portuguese Navy Macieira Fragoso announced in an interview with RTP Informação earlier this week.
“It’s a unique opportunity,” Fragoso told the TV station, adding that these ships will be good for another “15 years of duty” and will replace four current Navy ships that are reaching the end of their service life.
