Portugal has communicated to European authorities two new ‘probable cases’ of mystery hepatitis in children. The wave of illnesses affecting Western countries does not appear to be increasing. These two new cases in Portugal were both assisted in private hospitals in April, and in both cases the children recovered without serious consequences.
