Portugal’s IGAC (cultural activities inspectorate) has just pulled the plug on 50 new sites that it considers “violate the rights of the author and related rights in the digital environment” after having blocked over 130 sites in the last four months, reports the pplware site, posing the question: could this be the end of piracy in Portugal? For now, the list of sites has not been revealed, it added.
