BRITISH CLOTHING retailer Primark is planning to expand into Portugal as well as other European countries, following a positive sales record with profits of more than 250 million euros between January and September.
In a presentation to analysts following its full-year results, the retailer’s parent company Associated British Foods showed a slide indicating the major populations in Iberia that could support a Primark store.
Featured on the slide were 14 cities, including Lisbon and Barcelona, that do not yet have a Primark store.
