BROADBAND INTERNET uptake is the second highest of any other European Union country, according to a new survey.
Some 96 per cent of large Portuguese companies use broadband. The statistic was released on December 13, at the launch of a report and data about internet up-take in Portugal. The study also indicated that internet use by the population with secondary and further education was as high as 87 per cent, while 91 per cent of those with university education used the internet.
