Greta Gerwig’s film “Barbie” was the most watched film in Portugal on its opening weekend last weekend, screening to 189,709 spectators and taking more than €1.1 million at the box office, the Instituto do Cinema e Audiovisual (ICA) has said today. Between Thursday and Sunday, the period considered the opening weekend, Greta Gerwig’s comedy was screened in 177 cinemas and had, on average, 109 spectators per session.
