A survey has found that Portugal is the European country where most investors are planning to invest in next year. The data comes from the EY Attractiveness Survey 2016, which was conducted in March and April, and included 205 companies from 20 countries. A quarter of the companies (25%) answered that they were planning to invest in Portugal in 2017 – a higher percentage than France (23%), Germany (23%), the UK (23%), the Netherlands (19%) and Belgium (16%).
