Accompanying the prime minister on a tour of countries in S.E. Asia this week, Portugal’s minister for foreign affairs João Gomes Cravinho has suggested the country has “cards to play” when it comes to cooperation in renewable energy with nations of the area. This official visit of Portuguese ministers is travelling through Indonesia, East Timor and the Philippines to discuss “stepping up economic relations” on a number of scores. “Portugal has to be more present in Southweast Asia and this is a particularly favourable moment”, Gomes Cravinho said.
