A recent travel article in UK’s The Telegraph features Portugal as a holiday destination that “has it all”.
The article by Gary King, published in the January 10 edition, describes the country as a destination “par excellence, with tranquil beaches, picturesque towns, wonderful weather, fabulous food and drink, and golf courses”.
“Culture vultures” are spoilt for choice in Lisbon or Guimarães, the European Capital of Culture, wine lovers are advised to take a trip to Porto or the Alentejo region, while golfers and those looking for excellent weather and golden beaches should head for the Algarve.
Gary King says: “Portugal is a remarkable place that will reward visitors with a holiday that’s diverse, colourful, entertaining and action packed.”
