Portugal’s national football team will be facing the United States of America in a friendly match to be played on Tuesday, November 14 at the Algarve Stadium, Faro.
The announcement was made on Monday by the Portuguese football federation (FPF).
It will be the second of two friendly matches to be played by ‘Cristiano Ronaldo and Co.’ in November. The first will be against fellow World Cup qualifiers Saudi Arabia in Leiria on November 10.
Then the squad will be off to the Algarve to take on USA, who have come under fire after the team failed to qualify for the World Cup for the first time since 1986.
The two countries have faced each other six times before, with two wins for each team and two draws. The last match was played at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and resulted in a 2-2 draw.
Ticket prices have not yet been revealed.
