Portugal is definitely moving out of a State of Emergency. This is the news this afternoon from Iniciative Liberal MP Cotrim Figueiredo after a telephone conversation with President Marcelo, who is due to address the nation tonight. President Marcelo is in the process of sounding out opinions of all political parties in parliament. “For us, this is a happy day”, said Cotrim Figueiredo who has been one of the fiercest critics of the renewed States of Emergency for some time now.
