The first round of the Taça de Portugal, equivalent of the FA Cup, takes place this Sunday.
Farense entertain Estrela FC (Vendas Novas) at the São Luís Stadium (behind Faro Hospital); Os Armacenenses meet Moncarapachense at the Campo das Gaivotas, Armação de Pêra; Louletano DC welcome FC Castrense (Castro Verde) to the Estádio Municipal de Loulé whilst SC Olhanense will play Almancilense for the second time in a fortnight at the José Arcanjo Stadium, Olhão (behind McDonalds on the EN125).
Local league side Quarteirense, who just missed out on promotion to the Campeonato de Portugal last season, travel to the Beja region to play Clube Desportivo de Almodôvar. All games kick-off at 5pm.
