The draw for the first round of Portugal’s FA Cup has paired SC Farense and Estrela FC (Vendas Novas, Évora); Louletano and Castrense; Armacenenses and Moncarapachense whilst Olhanense have been drawn at home to Almancilense who they play in the league on Sunday.
Olhanense were the first Algarve team to reach the final of the competition back in 1945 when they lost 1-0 to Sporting Lisbon.
All games to be played on Sunday, September 3.
Other ties involving local clubs are FC Ferreiras (Albufeira) v. Moura AC (Beja); Almodôvar v. Quarteirense; Oriental (Lisbon) v. Lusitano FC (VRSA).
