Portugal has become the 1st European country to deliver its Programme for Recovery and Resilience (the long anticipated funding ‘bazooka’ to help the country overcome the ravages of the pandemic) to Brussels. Tweeting this morning, prime minister António Costa has said: “Portugal was the first member State to present the PRR. Our recovery is based on the reinforcement of the SNS, decent and affordable housing, promotion of qualifications, on capitalisation and business innovation, on developing the interior and on climate and digital transitions”.
