Before Saturday’s game several Olhanense fans were set upon by a group of local Porto youngsters, who stole two flags including the new Union flag featuring the gorilla logo.
The flag had been presented to the expats group by their Portuguese friends at the game against Portimonense the previous week and was featured in last week’s Algarve Resident.
No one was hurt in the confrontation and the party continued to enjoy a great weekend including a visit to a port lodge to see the port producing process.
