A new route linking Porto to Funchal, Madeira has been launched by British low-cost airline easyJet.
Starting last Friday, it includes four weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, with prices ranging from between €38 and €81.
Airport authority ANA says the link will be “important in the development of tourism in both areas”.
The new route is not the first of its kind however. Both destinations are already connected by TAP Portugal and Transavia.
