Portimão’s racetrack registered an “excellent” 90% occupation rate in the first half of 2015, with around 100,000 people attending the autodrome’s events.
The popular Superbike FIM World Championship alone was pulled crowds of over 30,000 people.
The local council praised the results and said that the racetrack has yet again proven to be one of the “best in the world”.
