‘Lota Cool Market’ is the name of a new project launched by the Teia D’Impulsos organisation, to be held in the old fish market building (Antiga Lota de Pesca) in Portimão on May 31.
The idea is to showcase the country’s “most creative and original products and tendencies”.
As many as 40 exhibitors will be selling everything from handicrafts to gourmet cuisine while also displaying design ideas and entertainment.
“The Algarve is much more than its beaches – it’s a way of living. We want to celebrate this little paradise in a cool and unpretentious way,” explain organisers.
A jazz trio as well as two DJ’s will be performing throughout the day and admission is free.
