Experts are carrying out a study to determine a potential capacity increase for Portimão Port.
A recent meeting between technicians of the National Laboratory of Civil Engineering (LNEC), Nautical High School Infante D. Enrique (ENIDH) and Portimão Port aimed to analyse the current conditions of the port and the possibility of increasing its activity and capacity for larger ships.
Portimão Port has registered a 23% increase in cruise ship traffic in comparison to last year. A total of 66 cruise ships are expected to dock at Portimão Port by the end of this month.
