Showcasing the “coolest trends of Portugal’s contemporary handicrafts, design and food”, Portimão’s second ‘Lota Cool Market’ will be held this Saturday (May 23) at the old fish market building (Antiga Lota de Pesca).
Organiser Teia d’Impulsos explains the event aims to be a “place where small businesses can promote themselves”.
Around 49 exhibitors from all over the country – most of them “young Portuguese” with their own brands and companies – will be displaying work at the market, which this year has a “Summer Roadtrip” theme.
Besides the items on sale, there will also be a concert by Portimão’s popular Funk group Os Compotas.
Doors open between 4pm and midnight. Admission is free.
