PORTIMÃO’S MARGINAL area is displaying some of the best photographs from the 31st Algarve Photography Exhibition until September 11.
The exhibition is divided into three types of photography: free (nude, portrait and travel), photojournalism and nature. This year, there will be a record number of photographs – 6,424 – by 1,711 photographers from 58 countries. The Algarve Photography Show is the only Portuguese exhibition of its kind to receive sponsorship from the International Federation of Photographic Art and the Photographic Society of America, the highest international exhibition representatives.
Visitors can see the photographs, which aim to promote the region on a national and international level, every evening between 7pm and midnight.
