PORTIMÃO WILL be hosting the traditional Marchas Populares, annual Portuguese parades, on Sunday, and then again on June 21, 28 and 29, in different parts of the city.
On Sunday, parades will take place along the riverside area in Portimão, with more than 650 people involved, representing seven groups within the council.
On June 21, the parades will take place in Mexilhoeira Grande, at the riverside area in Alvor on June 28 and in Praia da Rocha on June 29.
These events represent a 140,000 euros investment from Portimão Câmara.
