The first flight of Aerovip’s new Portimão-Bragança air link will take off from the northern Portuguese city at 7.30am on Wednesday (December 23), the charter company has revealed.
The plane, which can carry just 18 people, will stop off in Vila Real, Viseu and Cascais before arriving in Portimão at 10.05am and will fly back shortly afterwards.
Carlos Amaro, Aerovip’s administrator, told Lusa news agency he has “big expectations” for the link.
Two-way tickets are available for €146, although prices are lower for shorter trips at www.bookings.aerovip.pt
The Resident has queried Aerovip on the number of bookings made so far but has not received an answer.
The air link finally received the thumbs up it needed from the Court of Auditors after a complicated process that had been dragging for months (click here).
