PORSCHE IS due to open its new showroom in Faro this month and with it increase the company’s sales in Portugal by 10 per cent, according to the Porsche Portugal’s head of marketing and PR, Nuno do Carmo Costa.
In 2007, Porsche sold 226 vehicles in Portugal, with the expected 10 per cent growth in sales predicted, raising this by a further 23 vehicles in 2008. New models being introduced this year include the 911 Turbo, 911 GT2 and the Cayenne GTS. Nuno do Carmo Costa also said that Porsche’s future looks promising with the arrival of the new Panamera range.
