Craft beer, delicious food and live music will be the main attractions at the second Porches Craft Beer Fest to be held at Vila Vita Biergarten in Porches on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9.
Starting at 5pm, the event allows visitors to enjoy a variety of street food. There will be traditional Bavarian food, organic meats, barbecued meats, vegan and paleo options and a selection of homemade ice-creams.
To help ‘wash it all down’ will be a wide variety of craft beers, including Vila Vita’s very own Porches Craft Beer.
High-profile musical guests have also been confirmed, with Orelha Negra taking the stage on June 8 with the group’s unique fusion of several musical styles from hip-hop to soul and funk. One-man show The Legendary Tigerman will be the headliner the following day, while Compota, Gijoe + Rhythm, Vítor Bacalhau and Toby One are also part of the event’s musical line-up.
Organisers say the event also aims to raise awareness about the environment and will be using recyclable and reusable materials. The money raised from the recycled materials used at the event will be donated to the Centro de Apoio Social de Porches.
Tickets cost between €10 and €15 (for a one or two-day pass) and include a free beer. They can be purchased from Ticketline, Fnac and Worten.
