Poorest families can look forward to €60 one-off payment to help through crisis

Portugal’s poorest families – the roughly 1.4 million on subsidised tariffs for electricity – heard this week that they can look forward to a €60 one-off payment to help them through the various crises prompted by the war in Ukraine; inflation and rising fuel prices. The Minister for Labour, Solidarity and Social Security said the support is just one of a number of mechanisms being created to help families and businesses through current adversity.
