THE FIRST brick of a new swimming pool complex in Mexilhoeira Grande, Portimão was laid last week.
Located next to the municipal football ground, the 2.2 million euro pool is scheduled to be finished within 18 months. It will also house a gym and a medical post. The complex will also function as the social headquarters for Mexilhoeira Grande football club.
