CHILDREN IN Portuguese crèches as young as three could soon be learning several languages simultaneously with a new method that has been developed.
“The most recent investigations have shown that the earlier a language is learnt, the better its command will be,” said Edgard Fortes, President of the Adolfo Vieira de Brito Foundation in Lisbon that has pioneered the new method.
“It is easier to learn several languages simultaneously than sequentially.”
This language learning method was developed by the investigator Alberto de Sousa.
