AN OVERWHELMING majority of online readers said that the government should be providing more economic incentives to small retailers in the Algarve as they struggle to compete with large shopping centres.
A total of 76 per cent of voters believe the government is not doing enough to support these retailers, while 16 per cent believed the government should not intervene and eight per cent were unsure or did not have an opinion.
