AN OVERWHELMING majority of online readers did not believe that, in light of the recent amalgamation of UK passport services in Portugal and Spain into one issuing centre based in Madrid, this new system will be more efficient. A total of 86 per cent of voters said the new system would not be an improvement on the previous system, while seven per cent believed it would be more efficient and seven per cent were unsure or did not have an opinion.
