Whilst the police maintain that no one has been formally arrested in the case of missing Madeleine McCann, speculation was rife this evening following a day’s search at a villa 150 yards from the apartment from which Madeleine was abducted.
A local man who it is reported has a child of a similar age and appearance as Madeleine, has been taken to Portimão police station.
