GNR police are investigating the destruction of a speed radar on the EN125 road near the Algarve Shopping in Guia.
The device was installed before this summer by the national road safety authority (ANSR) and is managed by GNR police.
It is used to measure the speed of vehicles and determine whether drivers are keeping to the speed limit.
