PSP police foiled a break-in at Portimonense’s football stadium last Sunday (August 20).
According to sports newspaper O Jogo, the suspect carrying a backpack “forced entry into the stadium” through one of the gates in the early hours of the morning but was unaware CCTV cameras were filming.
Police rushed to the scene, which led the alleged robber to jump over a wall of “considerable height” and run away “empty-handed”.
