GNR police have dismantled what they believe was “one of the main cannabis supply points in Silves”. A 38-year-old man who grew the plants at his property in Sítio do Barrocal was arrested after police caught him for stealing gold and over €2,000 in cash from a house in São Bartolomeu de Messines on New Year’s Eve. Police also confiscated a set of digital scales, a 32-calibre revolver and a sabre.
