Authorities in the Algarve continue to clamp down on illegal motorhoming. Around 14 fines were handed out by maritime police to drivers of motorhomes illegally parked in Tavira last weekend.
The drivers were asked to leave the area and park up at the designated motorhome parks, which they “promptly did”.
These ‘swoops’ on illegal camping and motorhoming have become common place in the Algarve, particularly along the Costa Vicentina.
