GNR police have arrested two 17-year-olds believed to be behind a string of robberies in Quarteira.
Police believe the youngsters are responsible for more than 10 street robberies and shoplifting.
The suspects were finally arrested after a three-month investigation which resulted in two arrest warrants and two search warrants, with the GNR seizing three weapons and several items of clothing.
The young men were due to appear before a judge in Faro this week.
