Eighteen people were arrested during a large police operation which took place across the Algarve last weekend. In total, 600 vehicles and 20 night-time leisure establishments were inspected by the PSP police, which resulted in the arrests of two individuals for drug trafficking, eight for driving under the influence of alcohol, four for driving without holding a driver’s licence, three for civil disobedience and one for evading an arrest warrant.
Five vehicles were also apprehended.
