PM wants businesses to candidate for Brussels’ bazooka funding

PM António Costa has asked Portugal’s business community to start preparing their candidacies for funding under the terms of Brussels’ ‘bazooka’, the Plan for Recovery and Resilience. “Not believe this is a programme simply for public administration”, he said. “It’s either for use by companies or it’s lost. It’s time to leave the ‘fictional debate’”, he added, referring to minority party criticism of the government’s own plan for ‘reindustrialising the nation’.
