Portuguese Prime Minister, Pedro Santana Lopes, has been enjoying the Algarvean sun (and unseasonal rain!) at Quinta do Lago. However, in a break from tradition, it is believed that, this year, instead of opting to spend time at Praia do Garrão, he will be enjoying the sun at Praia do Gigi – according to reports, it seems that the politician will be staying at a nearby resort. However, visitors to the beach are unlikely to spot the new PM. “Lopes will be staying out of the public eye while he is on holiday. He won’t be making any public appearances for security reasons,” a source revealed.
