The official residence and gardens of the prime minister at São Bento are to open to the public on April 25 – the day Portugal celebrates the 1974 ‘Carnation revolution’. Doors open at 2.30pm, with the afternoon promising ‘various cultural events’ with music, dancing and activities for children. At the end of the evening there will be a concert by Dino d’Santiago.
