PM jets off to East Timor

At a moment where he is being criticised heavily at home, prime minister António Costa is on the move. Recently returned from New Zealand (departure for which saw the Council of State disband without conclusions), he will be embarking on his first visit to the former Portuguese colony as Portugal’s prime minister. The objective of this trip is to “deepen economic relations between the two countries and cooperation in the fields of sustainable development”.
