Prime Minister António Costa will be flying to Chile this weekend to mark the 50th anniversary of the military coup in that country, and try to “expand business” between the two countries, particularly in the field of renewable energies. This will be the PM’s second visit to the country (the first was in 2017). He is due to meet with Portuguese businessmen who are nvestors in the Chilean market “mainly in the areas of energy, construction, agri-food, insurance and consultancy”, says Lusa.
