PM Costa wants to hear citizens’ opinions on Portugal’s Plan for Recovery and Resilience’

Dubbed the “vitamin that will get us out of the crisis and make Portugal more resilient, green and digital”, the government’s Plan for Recovery and Resilience has gone online today for public consultation before being delivered to Brussels for approval.

Prime minister António Costa has tweeted to his followers: “Give your contribution for the future of Portugal”, he said, supplying the link

Portugal stands to receive just under €14 billion in EU grant funding under this plan up to 2026.

Explain reports, the plan presents 36 reforms and 77 investments in areas delineated as ‘social’, ‘climate transition’ and ‘digitalisation’.

A first draft of this plan . which also allows for 2.7 billion euros in loans – was submitted to Brussels in October (click here).
