Prime Minister António Costa is in prophylactic isolation today after contact with an infected member of staff.
Mr Costa is fully-vaccinated, has taken a test for Covid-19 which came out negative, and has no symptoms. But health authority advice is that he must go (once again) into prophylactic isolation. Thus he is reported to be maintaining his appointments via ‘remote working’.
Mr Costa has been through this experience before, after a meeting with President Macron just before Christmas (click here).
