Our friendly, helpful postman will lose his job.
Our local post office in Odeceixe will be shut and we’ll have to travel 20km to collect our mail.
In this rural area, many of the old people will have real difficulty without our post office. The post office is about more than letters; they pay their bills and avail other services there.
The private courier services are a disaster out here; their drivers change every week and none of them knows the people or the area.
Mail sent here via CTT arrives without worry.
