The trial of a 60-year-old playing field paedophile began behind closed door this week in Caldas da Rainha. The man, the head of a recreational association, is reported to have abused two children – starting as long ago as 2006. The victims whose statements have been kept for “future memory” said the man kissed them and fondled them after sporting activities.
