Planting in Portugal

Loulé Council is to plant 100 almond trees as part of the Plantar Portugal (Planting in Portugal) project.

The action is part of the celebrations to mark Dia da Floresta (Forest Day) on November 27 at 9.30am on land next to the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Piedade.

Plantar Portugal is a civic movement that calls on people to help give back “the vitality of the Portuguese forest” through reforestation, preservation and protection.

People interested in participating should call Loulé Câmara on 289 400 890 or email [email protected].
