Co-pilot landed the plane successfully
An easyJet plane carrying around 100 passengers was forced to make an emergency landing at Faro Airport this Friday morning (April 21) after the pilot felt ill.
The plane was diverted after taking off from London’s Gatwick Airport at 6.30am bound for Agadir in Morocco, where it was expected to arrive at around 9.25am local time.
Faro Airport’s red alert was activated and the co-pilot was able to successfully land the plane, reports Correio da Manhã.
It has not yet been revealed whether the plane has continued to its destination.
